GROOVE-A-THON!!

Staff and students of St. Joe's will be participating in our major fundraising event this Friday, October 20, 2015. Students may dress in black and orange for the day of this event.

Taking place in the school gym, the students will be involved in various physical activities for approximately 40 minutes.

Money raised will be used to support school initiatives to provide resources for the students. Additionally, the CSC and staff will donate 10% of the funds raised to various charities.

Children should not go door-to-door to solicit donations; please make requests of family, relatives and friends to be sponsors.

If students return their pledge forms and money for Friday, November 6, 2015, they will qualify for the following prizes:

1. Pizza Party! The first class to bring in all returns by November 6 will receive a pizza party!

2. The class that raises the most will also receive a pizza party (will be calculated according to class size) and all participating students will be eligible to be "Principal for the Day." This prize will be awarded to a participating student whose name is selected from the draw.

3.  First prize: $100 Walmart  gift card
     Second prize: $50.00 Cineplex gift card
     Third prize:  $50.00 Cineplex gift card
     Fourth prize: $25.00 Indigo gift card
     Fifth prize: $25.00 iTunes gift card


Funds may be submitted to the school through the School Cash Online system, or by cheque.  If choosing to pay by cheque, we ask that parents send in one cheque for the total amount that was collected.

Please make the cheque payable to St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School.

If you wish to receive a tax receipt, please make the cheque payable to HWCDSB.
